The Reason I decided to make Tube Necklaces available to the public
was for the True Analog Enthusiasts out there!
In college at CSU Chico, in 1996 I found a box of old junk parts while cleaning up a storage room
for the music department where I was a tech. Instead of throwing it in the trash,
I took the box back to my studio and found the tubes and sockets a short time later.
That was when I made my first tube necklace.
Later when I came to Los Angeles I decided to wear them to trade shows and conventions
where they always drew attention. In 2002 my photo of the tube necklace was placed
into the pages of a French Recording Magazines coverage of winter NAMM.
Since then I have made many necklaces to sell at the shows and for people to give as gifts.
Great care is taken in making each Tube Necklace... Making chains to length and using only high quality materials.
The Sockets and Tubes come from vintage parts from real electronics with solder still on the pins.
Some of the 7 pin sockets are unused vintage fresh from sealed packets.
Future designs will include special soldered on resistors and electronics pieces.
Custom Inquiries welcome.
